Past Events
Alphabet Orchids' very first Open Weekend
This exciting event took place on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd October 2010. Although it was a shame that the weather was so bad it didn't seem to stop the Orchid lovers out there. We met many new people who shared our love of hardy & terrestrial orchids and even a few beginners who fancied giving it a go. If you want to come and visit us on one of our open days please do. The next open weekend will be on Saturday 27th November and Sunday 28th November 2010. We look forward to seeing you here.
7th - 8th May - Sheffield Orchid Show
This is another nice event with a nice variety of different Orchid traders attending so if you want to see some unusual species and buy some really nice plants then I look forward to seeing you there next year.
3rd - 4th September Orchid Festival, National Botanic Garden of Wales
On Saturday and Sunday 3rd and 4th September 2011 Alphabet Orchids attended the 4th Orchid Festival held at the National Botanic Garden of Wales. This event keeps getting better a truely wonderful event to attend. This might be some distance for some of you to travel, but I can assure you that it is well worth a visit to not only attend the festival and talks from various orchid experts but to visit the National Botanic Garden of Wales. As soon as next years dates are available we will put them on our site so keep your eyes open.
